you can just see the corner of a fourth device poking out of the
top of the paper.

I'll back in there next week for further igestivations
eyeholes in newspaper sort of thing, no direct eye contact.

I know what you mean about psychic vampires. I could chat for hours about bikes with our neighbour on the left, no worries. The ones on the right... exhibit at model railway shows Shocked

The 4th one is too angular to be a calculator. I think it's a set of electronic scales and like someone else said - I think they're dealing drugs.

Anybody else expecting the next update to be from a cell, suspicion of stalking?

Really interested in why three / four calculators are needed though!

Maybe he's selling them - breaking up his cherished calculator collection. These are doubles he acquired when he bought a job lot off his mate - both of whom are prominent members in the Bristol section of UK Calculator Collectors. Their branch meeting is held in the cafe - but they like it so much they go there every day. Innit.

What kind of self respecting dealer doesn't own at least two phones? Even a cheap burner will have a calculator feature.
