Hi all,

I am a new biker in UK. Driven lot of bikes back in India and need to start it here now..

So do we have any recommendations for cbt in Southampton?
Please let me know.

Plus which bike should I buy in 125 range.. I am planning to use it for commute of around 49miles one way. Is it even possible for 125?

Thanks

49 miles one way? You're not planning on coming back?!

I'll assume you mean a 98 mile round-trip Smile Can you do it on a 125? Of course! Will it be a fast, smooth and comfortable ride? Maybe not... depends on the sort of roads.

If you Fancy a trip outside of Southampton to Portsmouth or Fareham you could do your CBT in one of my schools. Determined to stay in Southampton the Phoenix is a good bet. I know the instructor well and often help him out at one of his sites. Mark will look after you.

Basically straight down the A31 (instead of the M3.) It's a main road but it has quite an assortment of different bits - some of it dual-carriageway. You'll need something that can cruise along at 60mph without thrashing the engine too much... so I know what NOT to recommend which would be my old Keeway 125 Smile

<addendum> If this is a daily commute you'll soon want to get a full licence Wink

Varadero 125 will be your ideal bike for those miles.
