If you wrap it up tight and fold it small probably about the size of 1kg bag of flour, maybe a bit bigger, obviously not as heavy though it fits easily in the kriega r15 backpack with plenty of room.
Keep in mind it's not heat shielded, so if the cover sits directly on anything hot it could potentially melt. Personally haven't had this issue but seen another bike with the same cover that is full of holes where it's been melted around the radiator. I would think the MT should be fine though tbh. ____________________ Observation is the greatest source of wisdom. |

XL will be too big I think, L should be fine, you might even get away with a M.

Yamaha MT-09 Dimensions
Length 2075 mm / 81.6 in Width 815 mm / 32.1 in Height 1135 mm / 44.6 in (don't know how accurate this is, was the first result on google)
Oh there was one issue I had, my fault though, it does warn you.
I pulled the strap underneath tight whilst the bike was hot and the exhaust melted it, could probably fix it but haven't bothered. The cover fits well enough that I'm not that worried. If it's very windy I'll pop the edge of the cover under the side stand so it doesn't fly away. It hasn't toppled over yet, but may do on a more upright side sidestand in extreme winds. ____________________ Observation is the greatest source of wisdom. |
