Sorry, I'm sure you get this a lot but can't seem to find any information about it.
I am 18, and have a Category B full license, which I've had for just over a year as of now.
As far as I understand it, currently I can ride a category AM bike, with L-Plates, on the Road for the purpose of a CBT; but otherwise cannot ride a motorbike.
If I take a CBT, would I then be able to ride a category AM bike, without L-Plates, on the Road for as long as the CBT is valid?
And at the same time, would I be able to ride an A1 bike, with L-plates, on the Road for learning purposes?
Thanks in advance. |

Slightly complex you after a CBT can ride class AM without L plates but class AM is 50cc restricted to 28MPH not much fun and only good enough for short trips round town
You licence + CBT allows you to ride class A1 with L plates
A! is 125cc restricted to 15BHP gives 55/60MPH
there are 3 wheel bikes you can ride on a car class B licence but be very careful the rules as to which don't need class A are complex ! ____________________ Dave
