Oh no, I think it's much worse than that! I think the Tories looked at the success of Blair and thought "we can do that!" and completely lost their way over the last decade. But I wouldn't call them static. Neither could you level the same charge at Labour or the Lesbian Undemocrats.

Every other article seemed to be about a strike and how wonderful it was! Maybe some of the blame for the gig economy should go to the old-skool unions overreaching.

Don't expect to keep on pushing without some reaction.

The 7% is down to all those other stats you quoted. Makes sense not to give custody of a child to the parent with the lowest survival rates!

The list was about outcomes. "99.5% of suicide bombers are men" fits in with the list (and is probably not far off the real number) and then you can follow on with "almost all suicide bombers are Islamic" as a separate metric of religion versus the quoted list based on gender outcomes.

Anyway, I won a bullshitting competition when I served in the Marines and won.
Well, I came 8th but still, better than nothing.

My neice, that I generally regarded as quite bright actually believes that women should be allowed to join infantry units. She's 5 6', and built like a twig. Not any old infantry unit. That includes Para Reg and in the other case Royal Marines. She also reckon men and women compete in different events in sport because its 'traditional'.

I asked her how she'd feel about getting a complete kicking from someone my size and she said ' Men that assault women are sick'.

There you go. Split arse logic and equality when it suits.
