Honestly, I would just buy and fit a new cable, they are not expensive. Once they start to go they never get better.

It's not that. As when the engine gets up to temp it settles to a normal idle. I had a problem with the fast idle once before but fixed.


Could be valves in that case. Not a comparable bike but one of the first problems I posted on here after joining the forum was the Superlight running a bit rough from cold. Turned out to be 80% down to valves and 20% down to being a piece of Chinese shit.
