Turns out that the problem is that its WAY couch-lockier than the stuff I got a couple of years ago (which was called "cheese" and which is a lovely happy buzz, exactly perfect for the cheery hellkattish nature).

But this new stuff wiped me out for the whole afternoon! I can't do this stuff every weekend and survive to live a normal life in 9-5 office job land. What the hell am I going to do with it now?! Laughing

I might have to mix it with the remains of the catnip ... Thinking ... my cats will never know, and they're already lazy as fuck and eat me out of house and home.

Good thing I still have a bit of cheese left.

They experimented and came up with a lot of really very excellent shit. There is some fine stuff out there nowadays.

Edit: technically, though ... as I understand it, sensimilla is what they mostly grow nowadays, because back when I remember it, sensimilla was the stuff without seeds, and which they grew to bud - and this is what most stuff nowadays is produced as - you never get seeds in your bag now, its all about the bud, so much so that they cut away all those lovely leaves and call it "trim" (I know, I know ...) which all us old heads think is such a waste, but are delighted to discover that you can get it much cheaper as trim than spending a fortune buying bud from roadmen.

Gorilla glue is famous for having very high THC levels. You probably want a strain with middling thc levels and higher than average CBD.... more mellow and buzzy.

Avoid the really massive ones they dont cook through well. Wrap in foil and chuck in hot embers for hours or in the oven slowly cooking for minimum 2 hours. They bake through and the juices caramelise. To eat peel like a banana. Done this way they are amazing, any other way I agree tasteless.

Sorting my tax and NI. I went from Ltd to Sole Trader in April last year, and with a bit of accountancy jiggery-pokery my tax bill for 2018/19 payable at the end of this month is now zero. Also, as the Ltd Co paid my NI, my next NI will be payable in January 2021 and will be Class 2 at a flat £156 only.

I had a large broken tumble dryer that would have taken much swearing, moving of furniture and scraped knuckles to get out of the house.

I decided to dismantle it.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy, and 25 minutes later it was in it’s component parts.
No particularly special tools needed.

Now I can carry it through the house without any troubles Thumbs Up

Had a call this afternoon from my mate Paulie 'three-sheds', an avid collector of 70s two strokes. He had run out of petrol on his latest purchase and was stuck at the bottom of our road. Could I bring a can? Of course I could!

What a bike!!! A 750H2 in purple, only 26 miles on the clock since restoration, original pipes too... I managed to start it first prod, which given my lack of technique these days speaks volumes about the bloke who set it up. After taking it for a quick spin 'just to make sure it was alright', I am currently back at home smelling of unburned hydrocarbons and grinning like a Cheshire cat. He must be grinning like a roomful of Cheshire cats with four dicks apiece Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

For those of you who don't remember the H2, this is what the purple ones looked like:

The one he has bought is a 'B' rather than the usually better sorted 'C' model. Looks like it has had a respray at some point though, as the paintwork is perfect.

From a sad man to a self-confessed picky fucker, can you tell me if the 'B' had twin disks as an option? Also, did the 'B' have 'Mach 4' on the sidepanels? This one has both, so it may be that more modern bits were used in the restoration. Also, and this really will test your picky-fuckerness, did the 'B' come with KH750H2 stamped on the exhausts, or are they later pipes too?

Most of the really good condition ones in the UK these days are US imports, often given away by reflectors at the sides in various places.

I don't think any of the H2s came with twin discs actually fitted, but I have seen a number of Kwaks of that era with the mounting points on the fork on the non-disc side, as if Kawasaki had intended for an upgrade to twin to be possible.

No idea on your other questions, sorry.

I hope your mate doesn't find the problem I had with my H2B, also a US import: distorted and cracked crankcases due to very thin, chocolate-like ally, probably aggravated by age. Some ultra-dedicated people have actually gone to the trouble of having custom-made c/cases done, mostly for tuned projects. Loadsa money!

I must admit, it is a handsome bike. He had one a while back in much worse condition, and I did think at first he'd restored it over the autumn and Christmas because it looked so good. Nope - the old one went to help fund the new one.

This one is freshly rebuilt so needs running in. The engine feels 'tight', but the clutch is light enough. It has new tyres, new fork innards and seals, the rear shocks look recent (possibly Hagon), twin disks with rebuilt callipers and new hose etc. I must admit it did take a couple of attempts to find first, but as an ex-owner you'll know why Laughing

When the suns shines we will do the old-codger's bike test with this v his pink GT. I promise to take a picture somewhere scenic. Thumbs Up

If I had a spare £12k, I'm not sure if I'd blow it on something as impractical, however I don't and I too am jealous Sick

I suspect it is a US import like most of them, because I know who sold it and where he usually gets his bikes from. No reflectors on the shocks, so I think these have been changed. It does have reflectors on the lower fork clamp though. Can't remember whether UK bikes had these or not.

As for the twin disks, I do know that the original Z1 used to come with a single disk but had mounts for two. Possibly a similar set-up?

Somebody has spent a lot of time removing whatever corrosion there was on the crank cases, so lets hope they weren't trying to hide something in the process!

Might be. So you could have two totally ineffective calipers instead of one Laughing
