Likes I said, a little legal knowledge is dangerous, as well as enlightening.

If situation ever arises where I'm on your property & you ask me to leave, if/when you assault me I assure you that I will defend myself.

If you were on my property and refuse to leave when asked, you would be removed with the minimum necessary force. I would be on the phone to the police at the same time and would invite them to attend to supervise your removal. I do not envisage it would be sufficient force to constitute "assault".

Of course, if you chose to assault me or cause a breach of the peace in the course of exercising my common law right, I would perform a citizens arrest and await the police.

An evening's entertainment watching you all waggle your legal-knowledge dicks. Hoorah.

I'd get out the popcorn but ... I ate it on a boring evening when nobody was arguing.

What if yow watch a program that was first broadcast say in 1972 when you had a licence, then rebroadcast in 2019 when you taped it without a licence and you then watched it in 2020. As you had a licence when it was originally watched do yo need a licence for the repeats as you already have the information from the first broadcast?

When you recorded it in 2019, your recording device was receiving television as it was being broadcast. You need a licence to do that.
