First time I fired it up, I was getting an assortment of guys from my local area, none of whom I was interested in, cos my area is a shithole

But when I was dogsitting in Bromley, it suddenly started throwing the sort of men I wanted to meet, cos they were all better heeled over that neck of the woods, and more my sort of intellectual level.

For various reasons I ended up not bothering with it so much, and pretty much ignored it ... until I got to Australia, and it started sending me notifications from guys in Sydney and the Gold Coast. Yay!

I was even halfway across the Tasman using the plane's wifi to do (I can't remember what) and instead of guys in Australia, it started sending me guys in New Zealand before I had even landed in Auckland. (yay squared)

So yeah ... not much point you using something that goes by geographical location cos you'll only get all the local old mingers who probably know who you are

Thanks for all your wonderful predictions of how my night went.

Here's the low down - I fluffed up the date, she doesn't want to see me again. We only met for about 50 minutes because we were both quite busy so we decided we'd just go for food and walk around the shopping mall a bit.

I can't say why but it seems I'm was not what she was hoping for. I'm in a pretty bad mood honestly, rejection like this is annoying because she hasn't said anything about why. I texted her a bit later saying that I thought we had a good time and asked if she wanted a second date, she said 'yeah sure' and then ignored my next message about how about this weekend.

Since I couldn't bring myself to say 'can I use you as photo evidence for BCF' I don't have any pictures unfortunately. But here's what I can tell you, her family lives in Norway, she's staying here to study at Queen Mary Uni. She has a Norwegian accent - which I didn't know I had a thing for until as of late. She's kind of an eco-warrior, does volunteering of the same sort and she is studying foreign relations I think. As for my resume, I think this is where I fell short, I said I'm joining the navy in a bit and I'm not thinking about becoming vegetarian - I was asked almost first thing. She hugged me when we first met, and when I walked her back to the train station at the end she scurried off away without a goodbye hug. Then I knew 'Oh fuck' that's not supposed to happen.
