Wooden bike cover

Having had a new bobber delivered this week and keeping it outside and no access to the rear of the house, no garage etc I came up with this.

The bike has an Oxford StormX cover on it and now this thing made from pallets and some wood Ive had from a friend. Seems to work well... Simply park the bike up, lock and then this pushed over the top and then the rear wheels lock.

Thought it might give other some ideas to try

Looks like it will work to keep the worst off the bike. I wonder if a simple "lean to" in the space the cover occupies now would be a nice idea?
Single brick with a corrugated plastic clear roof well ventilated to allow moisture to escape etc. I like your thinking though and I hope the bike is everything you want it to be mate.

Neat solution.
Are you saying you keep a plastic cover on as well, underneath the box? If so I suspect that would do more harm than good, trapping moisture etc

I think this is a great idea. Much more secure than just a cover. I've got a Stormex over my CBF600 but in the high winds we've been having lately I've been worried about the bike getting blown over. This is the answer.

No offence intended but I think the local scrotes will pinch the wheeled shed to play on and not the bike lol. Be awesome taking it down a steep road.

Lots of potential with that small unused corner of the garden - there are lots of things that could be done more permanently for the bike.

It's a nice idea. Your bike must be very low to fit under that! Do you have a ground anchor where the bike lives?

I think I would be looking at something more permanent and secure for the future. for the solid lean too.

If that's a rented place, then that's actually quite a clever solution.
I would stop using the cover underneath the box and make sure that the box roof is waterproof. My only reason being that covers are a pain to put on and take off and you only need one waterproof cover so it might as well be the box roof.
