Good time to announce a new weather computer:

https://www.engadget.com/2020/02/17/uk-weather-supercomputer-most-powerful-yet/

Apparently it'll be the fastest in the world at fucking up weather predictions with accuracy from 300 to 1000 metres... bold claims!

Didn't they have a new one in 2013? That's progress, I suppose.

Also odd that the BBC uses the MeteoGroup instead of the Met Office.

Have a different type of 'weather' map - this one shows what is irradiating you.
Top left is a selection of types of radiation. Zoom into the various map tiles and try sussing why certain parts of the UK are radioactive. One near me is Albermarle Barracks. It shows as radioactive. The reason? Nuclear convoys stop there and park overnight.

(I love maps)
