I brought a Constand rear paddock stand which has bent out of shape to the point where it's unusable. I'm thinking of getting the Oxford premium stand but saw several bad reviews. Can anyone recommend me a well built rear wheel paddock stand for a CB125 R (adjustable for any future bikes).

I have a black oxford one, cant give more info than that as I bought it in a sale without a box for a fiver. In around 5 years it hasn't bent and that includes extended periods with bikes left on it. Its alot chunkier than an ebay one I had which bent after a month.

Get an Abba Stand.

Get the Turner for it too. Nice tool. Cool

I have an oxford one with two paddles on a bit of square section that slide in and out to go under the swingarm. Not sure which model.

Frankly, it's shite. Not even sure you'd get the paddle things far enough out to fit a 125 swingarm and even if you did, they'd be bendy as hell. It's in the back of the shed and I never use it. I preferr pushing the bike over onto the sidestand and jamming a block of wood under one side of the swingarm, seems more secure.

If you want a well built motorcycle stand that'll fit future bikes, get an abba stand.

If you're going to use a paddock stand, fit bobbins and use that type of stand, definately not the sticky-out paddle type.

For a lighter bike (like my bullet or a 125) I justy bodily lift the whole thing up onto a couple of car axle stands under the swingarm.

I also endorse the Abba stand. I've got one with the extra bits that enable you to tilt the bike and lift either wheel. They're well made and easy to use and will last a lifetime.

Strong paddock stands are the ones made from box section rather than tubes.
