I managed to score some bog roll today too. Snuck home with it, furtively looking over my shoulder every so often, in case of bog roll muggers. I'd have felt more secure walking home with a sack full of gold bars.

"Pssst! Hey pal, wanna buy some bog roll?" Shifty "It's primo gear, man!" Shifty Shhh!

In all seriousness, I went round the corner in Tesco to get something, leaving my trolley in the aisle. Then thought 'best not, there's bog roll in it'.

Plain yoghurt, crystallised ginger, dried mango.
et voila!
Transforming plain boring yoghurt into luxury yoghurt in one fell swoop

And some tropical fruit granola to mix into it.
Cool

I usually mix CBD honey in with it but I'm running low, so until the fella gets more in stock I'm hanging onto what I have.

Was that a general assessment of the situation, or a direct order?

I queued for 20mins at my local Asda this morning. It wasn't that bad actually, everyone was patient, nobody moaning.
We all kept a decent distance and things were pretty well organized by the staff.
I had around 20 things on my list, all of which I managed to get along with a couple of bonus items including hand wash and Marmite peanut butter.
Not tested yet.

It basically tastes like free-from cheese. Not worth buying it. As it, I would always turn to peanut butter and banana 'toasted' as blummin' yummy. Thumbs Up

I've not tried free from cheese but I can't imagine it instantly dries up your mouth as much as this marmite peanut butter combo.
Maybe I shouldn't have eaten a substantial teaspoonful straight out of the jar, definitely not meant to be taken neat.
It might work in a sarnie or on toast etc.

I know a lot of Brits seem to be disgusted with the Yank's taste for peanut butter and jelly (jam), but I tried it not long ago and actually like it - it answers that dried mouth thing that you get with just peanut butter nicely.
I'm guessing everybody else already knew that though Rolling Eyes Laughing

Delivered to Ste's driveway along with the shovel, sds drill etc so that he can sort his fence posts.

pasta..........in a supermarket.......what is this? witchcraft? Laughing

Just purchased a bag of broccoli.......of all things. People seem to be stocking up on all the pasta stuff and rice, but are forgetting the good old green stuff, which does quite well in the fridge when you whack the temp to min Mr. Green

Nutella is made with hazelnuts
Peanut butter doesn't usually have chocolate added (although I'm sure there must be a version somewhere)

Personally my preference is for peanut butter.
Chunky.

John Smiths, eight of, from a corner shop.
Is it just me that finds it heartening that the beer and wine isles of large supermarkets are usually pretty much stripped bare? I just find it funny, having in my minds eye the UK population in lock down getting permanently smashed...
