People are not taking this isolation thing seriously enough.

I provide support to an industry classed as critical workers, namely the freight clearance industry. If this stops, we starve.

Instead of going to site in Dover and risking infection, we're shipping stuff to and from me to be repaired or sent back in the rare cases where remote support can't be used.

Just been to the tiny post office up the road. Went in the car, took sanitiser. Sanitised my hands before going in to find 2 old God bothering crusties from the church stood right next to each other, trying to post 87 fecking no critical parcels to their members!

It's only a little sub post office, so I went back outside and waited. Giving the bloke 2M as he kept going back to his car to carry in another load. By the time I got served, there was a queue outside the building stretching around the corner as everyone tried to distance themselves.

Use a fecking courier for 87 parcels you morons and don't bother going out in public unless it's critical. Grrrr

Well done. and you managed not to blame the "mussies" once. You're improving. Laughing

Bicycle shops are on the list of retailers that are allowed to stay open during the shutdown.
Shocked

Where is this list?

Note that some places are taking extra precautions. See Screwfix's website for a good example.

Edit: before it changes:

A MESSAGE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS
Following the Government Announcement we are reviewing our service. Hardware stores have been nominated as essential retailers during this time and therefore we are implementing a number of measures today. This is to ensure, first and foremost the safety of our colleagues and customers, whilst enabling us to provide the essential materials to our customers, many of whom play a critical role in keeping homes in our communities across the UK and Ireland warm, safe and with power.
This essential service will be as follows;
Home Delivery – We will continue to operate a Home Delivery service but this may be subject to delays and ranges may be limited during the coming weeks.
Click and Collect – We will provide a click and collect service for essential purchases only.
Our stores will be open from 8am for existing essential click and collect orders only. If you have previously placed a click and collect order and it is not essential please do not travel to our store – we will contact you in the next few days to discuss options.
Our website will reopen later today for home delivery and essential click and collect orders only. If you need to visit a store to collect your item you must respect the strict Social Distancing measures we have put in place.
Our contact centre is closed until further notice.
Please stay at home in line with the Government Guidelines.

There are plenty of tweets over the last few days from the Welsh Police forces stopping anybody that looks like they are taking non-essential journeys.

If your going to be riding a motorbike in Wales this weekend, you will almost certainly have your collar felt.

Stay at Home.
