Hi guys just thought I'd show you a short update on my long term project.

We acquired the bike from the borders with a full years MOT. But on closer inspection the bike was in a sorry state.

It had been imported from Kuwait with someone putting 916 clocks on it to change them back to MPH. Also the tank was leaking and the sprag clutch had went along with an endless list of problems

So over the next few years the bike was completely stripped down and refurbished.

I can put a full list of what was done to the bike if anyone's interested but its been a long journey.

Cheers, I used to work in car rental so I had seen the colour on a mini cooper and thought it looked cracking.

So I ended up at the mini garage near me, went in for a cup of coffee and a biscuit and came out with the paint code.
