Looking good so far for tomorrow's launch of two astronauts, on a SpaceX falcon rocket, to the space station - weather permitting.

Its been stood down because the weather monitors around the launch pad have indicated too much meteorological electrical interference nearby, so they are trying again on Saturday.

I tuned in in time to hear Captain Musk OBE give his speech.

'Never in his wildest dreams' had he imagined this was possible.

What sending two blokes to the ISS?

Even I can have wilder dreams than that, Moon, Mars, etc.

What a load of OBO 110X

That was intense. I actually felt pretty emotional at points but then I have had a few beers.

I was watching the speedo climb to 21000kph (13000mph)

That’s just another level for me.

Oh and another thing to all you flat earthers out there. Bloody told you.

I don’t usually double post but I had to work out how fast it would take me to get to work at that speed.

So say 8 miles 8/13000=0.000615 is in hours then times 60 to get it into minutes then another 60 to get it into seconds

Works out about 2.2 seconds to travel 8 miles.

The strange thing was when the first stage was supposed to land the footage cut out for 2 seconds, and then suddenly there it was!

OK so the landing could cause turbulence to disrupt the feed, but not sure it could have landed in two seconds.

I thought that, it did look a bit like a bad magicians trick.

If you watch some of the previous test landings though it can all happen very quickly!

It's due to fly overhead again at around 10.15 PM. If the sky is clear enough and dark enough we may just catch a glimpse.

I did.

Mrs Raffles reckons that she saw it but I think that she may have been lying!
