Does smell a bit spammy to me.
The only person I know who has a camera set up like that has it fitted to his race car (MX5 race series) because the race regs require front and rear facing cameras with all the data in case of an incident. It makes for some good crash videos. He looked at using a couple of gopro's and some software, but instead opted for the integrated system as it was easier to set up, smaller bullet cams, and guaranteed to work.
