Hi all,
I am restoring the bike, have rebuilt the engine, and looking for the right colour paint to spray the engine casings, I am here in England.
Keep safe

A pushrod Honda 50 with a clutch lever, a rare beast Nowadays.
The crankcases would have had no paint finish on them at all. The covers would have been silver. If you want to paint the cases silver , no one would know it wasn't original.
I'm working on a 1971 CT70 at the moment, not quite as old, but still no paint on the crank cases. Crankcases all held together with Philips Screws, nice and easy to get out after 50 odd years, not.

Ah, yes. The impact driver is your friend. At least you can get those screws out before you round out the Philips head into a crater. The downside is that you tend to make little aluminum springs as the screws work their way out Shocked

Philips or JIS? I swapped all the case screws for hex socket bolts on my old thing but the JIS screwdrivers made short work of getting the old ones out.
