I looked at a 280 gasser but it was absolutely hanging!

Lots of people say the bigger trials bikes are a handful, but even without the flywheel weight this seems not too lairy

Just need a towbar now.

Also picked up another cb1 for the misses. Too cheap to turn down, runs better than mine!

Mine needs a bit doing, rear wheel bearings and shock linkage bearings mainly. Its road registered which could be funny. So far I have wheelied it across my garden and almost through the greenhouse!

You still want that round can?

The one I rode felt more like a four stroke bike & very predictable with the power delivery if I'm honest. Tons of torque for lugging uphill at low speed...the KTM 144 was more hassle to get up the same sort of hills and such as being more peaky required more revs & clutch slipping.

The Beta was just a case of sling it in 2nd, pull away and forget about using brakes/clutch from there in...I'd definately have one if it popped up cheap enough however I can't justify £1k on a bike I'll use perhaps once or twice a month! Laughing

I'd definately road register it, simply as it then becomes cheaper & easier to get theft insurance. Pikey scum love a bike with knobblies.

Whoopsie.

12k, fsh, stainless system, scottoiler.

Fork legs need painting, very very tidy otherwise.

Holy thread resurrection manbat.

Five years have gone since, so it's probably time for an update.

Zx9r - bought back, wasn't the same, sold.

WK450RX

Direct ripoff of a crf450x. Great bike. Lairy as hell, amazingly well built. Bought with 100 miles on the clock. Haven't found any honda bits that don't fit.

https://i.ibb.co/br44sVw/IMG-20200528-214626761.jpg

V-Strom - no pics, but it was a dog. Moved on.

750 monster - tatty, made a few quid on it after tarting.

https://i.ibb.co/crFn51X/IMG-20170504-183203.jpg

Mk2 Versys - bought with a dropped valve. Fitted ER6 engine, toured Europe, sold it to a polish bloke.

https://i.ibb.co/WpRBv1s/IMG-20170921-123933143.jpg

GSXR750K4 - again. Sold to go ride Canada, America, Vietnam.

https://i.ibb.co/3W8W7zh/IMG-20190223-161510793.jpg

XT600e - bought as a non runner. Gave it a good going over then shipped it to Canada. Rode 13,000 miles mainly off-road in four months. Didn't have a single issue, a good old donkey. Shipped back from LA, sold. Loads of pics of this, won't bore you.

https://i.ibb.co/LRQZZ8P/Screenshot-20180721-115044.png

SV650 - bought because it was £500. Meh. Fixed it sold it.

https://i.ibb.co/tZyhXMH/IMG-20190113-122008120.jpg

Husqvarna sm610ie - swapped my WK for a fucked 450SX. Swapped the fucked 450SX for the husky. Sold my gsxr to the bloke that took the WK, which was part of the deal. My WK now owes me precisely nothing. Laughing

https://i.ibb.co/N3GXCpK/IMG-20200526-175605685.jpg

Sinnis shitheap - bored to 150, high lift cam, tarted, doubled my money. Good for 75-80. Ultimately horrid.

https://i.ibb.co/0BsNgCS/IMG-20191006-183336-889.jpg

200exc - Probably the most fun I've had on two wheels. A keeper.

https://i.ibb.co/Jct1Prv/IMG-20200110-185934-004.jpg

https://i.ibb.co/d6sHNzL/IMG-20190902-182353-912.jpg

650 v Strom - commuting duties. It was cheap. I didn't want to like it, but it's great.

https://i.ibb.co/MZjXrj9/IMG-20200307-155852681.jpg

The 450 is now going full-fat SM with an FCR...

https://i.ibb.co/qYNPYJL/IMG-20200606-181713263.jpg

And I've just got back from a 460 mile round trip to get this:
