Riding is all about being IN CONTROL
If you let other drivers influence or make your decisions, then you are abdicating control to them, not taking it yourself.
According to Gumball, "Wot-a-behind, no matter'... sod the other traffic, ride your own road; other drivers/riders ent you or on control of YOUR vehicle, you are supposed to be, so stuff'em and get on with it.. if that means slowly, so be it that's their problem, and they can slow down or pass, that's for them, to decide.
Tip: many 125's go as fast or faster in 4th than they do in top gear, cos top is usually an over-drive' ratio, and they aren't over endowed with power to begin with; try changing down and using the gears.
Its common newbie & mush further error, to over shift., and constantly try using too tall a gear, almost everywhere, especially to a newb where gears are oft something of a novelty and they dont feel like they have much else to do.
Otherwise; just lok where you want to go' keep it smooth and worry about what YOU .... NEED to do, no one else... they can look out for themselves.
If its getting too mush... STOP.. take a breakl, let the, untamgle themselves and break the chain where other folk may try making you do stuff different.
As foe the rest.. wel, PLEASE dont get bogged down, and FFS dont start pontyificating about Kieth Code, Twist of the Wriost, or the mythical 'counter-steer'... just go dp it.. amd of that is slow.... so be it... let other trrafic deal with it.... that's what their traini8ng and tests were supposed to be for... not for YOU to do what YOU THINK they want.....

I'll second these.
You're probably death-gripping the controls. Don't. Make sure your elbows can flap around freely, if you can do that, you're probably ok.
You're probably looking where you want to avoid, the hedge, outside lines etc. Look through the corner. Learn what a vanishing point is, follow that, it'll tell you what the corner is doing. Object fixation is a thing and it'll make you headbutt a tree in a hurry.
Additionally - Ignore pretty much everything Teffer's says, you know you're not Rossi, you know you can improve, so you're probably not going to throw yourself at the scenery by over estimating your abilities, which is his usual line screamed at anyone without a test pass.
