This is a surprise.

Not.

First cripple western economies with a virus then the coup d' Etat of smashing any hope of UK trade with the PROC.

I say, "Expel this fucking eco terrorist and his Staff today and turn all ships, planes or trucks carrying goods and people from China away from our ports.

Where is MDF 4x2 when we need him? We should never have trodden on his cape. 😕

Plus, after a break caused by Coronavirus, China has ignored all the protests and locked down on Hong Kong.

-Political books removed from libraries
-No longer have right to remain silent
-Authorities can search and arrest without a warrant
-Government can have a good look at your internet history to see what you've been up to (although it's presumably all blocked anyway)

I've worked it all out, it's our (the British) fault for getting the Chinese hooked on Opium in the 19th century. Hong Kong came from that war and presumably the Hong Kongians are used to living under British style freedom of speech.

It gives the UK government a good excuse to back out of Chinese involvement in UK business and infrastructure. It will be interesting to see what happens about Chinese investment in our universities.

I just don't understand how China can be upset about this. China bans stuff all the time. Google, Youtube, movies, books... anything that hasn't been given a big red government stamp of approval. Huawei 5G being knocked back should not be a big deal, and the fact they're getting so upset about it just goes to show they probably had ulterior motives.

I see Huawei (and other big Chinese corporations) as something similar to the East India Trading Company. It's a private company, but the Chinese government is watching closely so see how it can work to their own imperialistic benefit.

So China is catching up with Britain in that respect.

I think 24hrs notice is the ethical diplomatic maxim.
But if you have stuff fast tracked then Boris, I'm certain, could negotiate extended terms.
48hrs is all we should afford them.

Yet more kick-off in China China China.

Tonight I learnt from the news that CCC is sending Muslims to 're-education' camps.

I'm worried which lefty I will trigger.
If I do nothing, thereby siding with China (silence is violence) then I'm Islamophobic.

If I call China out on it then I'm Chinaphobic.

Allah has just divided by zero Sad

I've been telling people they've been doing these sort of things for years, but everyone looks at you like some kind of conspiracy nut Laughing To most people the worst thing China has done is produce poor quality goods.
