Hi all,
purchased the above bike last October, done 3500 miles and its been great up to now.
The bike starts and idles fine but if I slowly increase the throttle, at around 3000rpm it will either cut out or if I keep opening the throttle it will run, but a little rough.
If the engines cold it will tend to cut out at 3000rpm
If the engines warm it will run a little rough between 2-3000rpm and then seems fine.? May be under powered?

I know little about EFI, but I'm guessing one of the sensors maybe faulty. I think I have identified its sensors correctly,
1) Idle air control valve. 2) TPS. 3) Intake Pressure, then Engine temp and Lambda.

If anyone has any thoughts on what could be causing this issue I would appreciate hearing them. Thanks very much

For a start they run a little lean, it seems more noticeable from cold.

I didn't have it quite as bad with mine but I found readjusting the valve gaps to spec made a difference. Also worth eyeballing the spark plug while you're at it along with the air filter.

Good shout. Mine was a salvage job so no warranty left Wink Has the OP asked the dealer/garage yet?

Hi guys, thx for the replies, Keeways do come with a 2 year warranty if you have
them serviced every 600 miles or 6 months, I decided to try and do servicing myself.
I have read that the TPS sensor works like a potentiometer (volume control knob)
so there maybe some dirt or a break in the sensor thats causing the stalling.
Guess I'm gonna have to spend some money!!!

General comment on maintenance: don't get hyper-focused on one "problem area" and expect it to fix everything, it'll lead to disappointment.

At one point I had the whole throttle body off, cleaned the injector, re-adjusted the TPS... didn't make the slightest bit of difference! YMMV of course Smile

Yeah Easy-X your right, its easy to focus on one "problem area". My issues seem to be getting worse. Still idles perfect but starting to run like cr*p through the whole rev range now. Gonna be something small I know.
thx
