Some twats in a Merc tried to do a U-ey in front of me on the approach to the Kidbrook interchange Rolling Eyes

I turned the air blue with my language, revved a lot and pulled sloooooooowly up at the traffic lights facing down towards the Blackwall Tunnel to see if they would come and apologise.

But no.

They kept SEVERAL car lengths back (in the same lane) Laughing
Possibly having decided not to fuck with the sweary lady wearing a length of chain padlocked around her torso.

(Yes I know *sigh* it will break my ribs if I fall off etc etc assorted bruising and crushed internals ... but my rucksack was full of laptop and I was just coming back from a fortnight's assignation with Robbie the greyhound, so there was no other way of getting everything home.)

Anyway. Said twerps in Merc avoided me all the way down the A102 until I got to the dense traffic at which point I menaced all the lanes going North until the tunnel. Made me feel better, and shook off Angry Bird.

First off I always look for the TFL sticker in the back... probably an Uber driver. No point getting angry at pond scum.

Never been on this thread, but I would like to have a rant, here goes:-

Today, me and a few of the chaps shut one of the raised 2 way cycle superhighways next to a one way carriageway so we could dig down, find a previously laid carriageway duct, thread it with armoured cable, then dig across the foot way and run the cable into an empty Belisha beacon, ready for a ped crossing to be built later on this year. Look up who Belisha beacons are named after if you want to see someone with a name guaranteed to get them bullied at school!!!!

The plan was cycles heading in the same direction as the vehicular traffic would face a sign saying CYCLISTS DISMOUNT. They could use the road in the same direction as the vehicular traffic or get off and push it along the foot way and then carry on the cycle track. In the opposite direction they faced a CYCLISTS DISMOUNT sign and should really have pushed the bike along the opposite foot way.

Did they fuck, bunch of useless shit for brain wankers. I understand that momentum is everything for pedal power, I have no problem if they want to just ride round us, the signs are to keep me out of trouble if they get strawberry jammed, no loss to the general breeding population as far as I'm concerned. However, not only did most use the road against the one way, no matter if a vehicle was coming through, four, fucking four individuals fell off their bikes at speed in a 3 hour period, because they were riding head down and only saw the sign at the last minute, grabbing a handful of brakes. What if it had been a kid crossing the road, useless shitheads....scuse my French. At least one had the decency to lay their groaning and clutching his bloodied knee so I didn't feel my morning was wasted.

Out of about 2 to 300 plus cyclists, two got off and pushed their bikes around us. I ordered the lads to go after them, catch them and have them stuffed for the Natural History Museum, a rare species indeed. I am going to make a collage out of the photos I took of the ones riding against oncoming vehicles and have it on the desk in front of me at all future cycling meetings where the bastards go on about the danger from cars and lorries to the vulnerable user group they represent.

Rant over!

Headlessness... it's a phenomenon that seems to be spreading across the internet. If you don't want to be seen on the Internet... don't fucking video yourself and put it out there. And certainly dont video guitar covers/tutorials* with the camera aimed squarely at your groin! "Dont forget to like and subscribe!"... sure thing dickhead, I can't wait to see more of your crotch shots with grainy video and shit audio. Porn seems to be going the same way too, although that is perhaps a bit more understandable.

This has made my day. If I'm feeling glum at anything today, I shall think of this and smile.

My PC keeps making "something connected" and "something disconnected" noises. It's an old Toshiba laptop, to which I have connected a keyboard and a mouse. Perhaps one of them's having a funny five minutes.

Either a ropy USB connector (check for fluff) or maybe you have automatic Jack detection switched on in your audio-drivers.

Get a cup of tea and stare at Device Manager for suspects Smile

We put something behind the door which slows his entry and we're quite adept after 3 kids are adjusting our position and pulling the duvet over ourselves.

I still think that she nearly got taken nasally in today's panic readjustment.

Back in the day we used to use a bedside cabinet against the door. It would work until the age of 6'ish, at which point our eldest was strong enough to consider it sport to break into mum and dad's room when we were putting away the clothes....

Ha! Anita did that to me and her dad once, although I think she was a bit younger than the littlest Nobster.

She's turned out alright and managed to become a sex pest well-adjusted younglady like her mother Laughing
