You used to see BT engineers lowering a bucket on a rope into the underground tunnels carrying the phone lines and then throwing the bucket of air as if it was full of water to ensure there was no CO2 down there.

If they didn't say that and someone caught covid they'd sue the arse off them.

I'm no expert butenough knowledgable people say it does SOME good,so I'l wear one in the shops. I go in them so rarely now it's hardly any hardship.

The point is supposed to be that they (except masks with valves) protect other people from the exhalations of infected individuals. So, when everyone wears them, people are protected. I think that there will be some personal protection, but it will not be a great deal.

Presumably, since masks aren't preventing you from picking up the virus directly but are more supposed to be to help stop you from spreading it, the front is worn inwards. Which makes it the back. Confused
