Hello.
I had installed a sports/race clutch for my moped. Also did my friend.
Mine drags and pulls me forward like crazy, yet my friend's and other's I know work perfectly. It is adjusted like it should be, yet when I fully clutch it in, it still drags me forward. I use correct oil for the transmission, yet it comes out gray.

Could anyone please help me? Thank you!

This is probably not what you want to hear, but may I suggest you remove the pointless and probably quite expensive racing clutch off and put the standard one back on. Why on earth would you fit a racing clutch on a bike like that?

Think again? Is it assembled, fitted and adjusted properly?

What exactly did you actually get (URL?) to fit? The whole clutch, or just new plates/springs, or what?

Yes, I hope you kept all the old bits! Refit the old clutch and see how it performs just in case is something else...

Moped?! I'd call it a dirt bike with pretensions Smile When you say "racing clutch" what do you mean? Probably not a Rekluse Wink

I'd compare the old parts very carefully to the new ones as it sounds more like a cheap steel or clutch ring that's out of spec, that or you haven't got all the springs done up right on the clutch pack.

The "grey oil" is interesting, it suggests entrained air, or water, but I can't see how...

In de-restricted mode there may be 9+BHP to deal with and it should whizz up to maybe nearly 60.

I think the "racingclutch" is just a set of plates with stiffer springs and some exotic friction material, might not be that cheap compared to standard. One of The Boy's friends had a Derbi 50, and was always farting about with it and buzzing up the road, I was extremely surprised that he wasn't stopped.

My bet's on an assembly issue rather than material quality, but it's hard to see how, hence the questions.
