I moved just as lockdown started and posted my V5 to change the address on for car and bike, took 3 and a bit months. So certainly hit and miss.

Quick update, just had a call from the dealer, and the V5 has not come though (suprise, suprise) but, something has cropped up this weekend which means i won't be able to pick it up anyway Sad

I did however mention about taxing it via the VIN, and they have basically said, if i can do that then they will deliver the bike any evening next week

So i will give taxing it via the VIN a go this afternoon when i get home from work....... fingers crossed

Not a replacement, but my wife bought a Tiger two weeks ago and the seller did the transfer of keeper online whilst we chatted, we had the V5 in her name three days later.

Bought audi at start of April and the v5 arrived about a week ago, had to tax mine for 6 months too which hurt at almost £300
