I could do with something of a mildly relaxing nature right now, my shoulder's fucked. Can't even put my bike jacket on.

I've always personally held the belief that we should legalise everything and be done with it.

Drugs are the number one source of income to fund organised crime, removing this would significantly impact the criminal gangs.

Legalising it would mean that consumers could be sure what they were getting was pure and not cut with anything dodgy. Most the deaths related to things like ecstasy were due to the horrendous stuff in there which shouldn't have been.

The fear of owning up to taking drugs would be removed, meaning people who had a bad reaction would be more likely to seek help sooner and get the help they needed.

Places where this has been trialled have not seen the expected surges in use or crime, nor have they seen the masses stop going to work and just getting wasted.

The amount of money that could be raised by taxing drugs would be huge and could be put to real use as well as introducing a whole new economy.

I'm all for it.
