I've used Honey browser extension and it's saved me money a few times. Usually it comes up with nothing, but it's worth a shot.

Agreed. I think Honey is more US orientated, which is a shame. A British version would be good but I don't think we'll ever get one.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I just Google ‘discount codes’ for the site I’m on.

Last one I got six quid off a pair of tyres which is better than nowt.

I have, mainly on sites which have a big presence in the US. For the few times I got the discount it's still probably worth having to be honest.

Which site gave you that, please? (I'm buying tyres today!)
I find googling for these codes etc a major PITA as 99% of the results are either fake or out of date, so I rarely bother...

No vouchers but topcashback is available for some tyre shops. https://www.topcashback.co.uk/search/merchants/?s=tyres

Black Circles have a discount code for £25 off 4 tyres, or 10 off 2.

Toyo's a pretty decent brand. For car/van tyres, I would not make a distinction between them and "michelin" or others.

For a track car I'd probably not choose anything other than Toyo.

hotukdeals is probably the best to check. Lots of retail sites actually work in partnership with them to provide voucher codes to increase their traffic and drive sales of add ons at full price.

Sorry I’m probably too late for this but it was Tyreleader.

They’re not a U.K. based company in spite of the .co.uk website and the tyres themselves got shipped from Germany but I didn’t have any problems.

Funny thing was the rear tyre arrived by DPD and 20 minutes later another DPD van arrived with the front tyre. M Rolling Eyes

Too late now I guess, but you might try "tyreshopper", which is an online offshoot of National Tyres. Once or twice I have had real bargains from them. You buy at tyreshopper (all-in price), they deliver to National who fit them.

I used tyreleader myself as it happens - I usually find they're the cheapest and their service has already been fine too. What i was after though was the name of the site which offered you the discount (don't think I've ever found one for tyreleader, and they don't subscribe to quidco, topcashback etc either)

Ha - my rear tyre arrived on Saturday and the front one yesterday!

I found it here https://www.tyreleader.co.uk/promo-codes. I can’t find the one I got. Think it was 6 quid off of any 180/70/17 tyre.[/url]
