I can't be bothered watching a video on this depressing subject. But psychos is actually an accurate description, I think. Or maybe autistic. Definitely an actual mental disorder that once would have been prescribed for, or treated with psychiatric sessions.

The tl;dr is PJW inferring parallels between the Salem Witch Trials and current cancel culture. Amusing but more of a "these jigsaw pieces seem to fit."

the tl;dr is they did a study and found cancel culture comes from individuals that show signs of dark triad behaviour.

In psychology, the dark triad comprises the personality traits of narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy.

Well yes, a fairly known quantity in psychological circles - hardly revelatory - but seeing the "origins" so to speak far back in time is interesting.
