Mr Piers Corbyn. A First from Imperial (physics), campaigning against 5G, vaccines, etc.

A idiert; bonkers; self-seeking or aggrandising - or - what?

I believe the term you are looking for is 'cockwomble'.

TBH I thought "who the fuck is Piers Corbyn?" The tl;dr from wikipedia seems to be: political but not as successful as his brother, had a business doing weather predictions, did okay...

Really, nothing remarkable about the fella until he's suddenly rubbing shoulders with the nut-jobs Thinking

Makes me wonder whether there's a conspiracy theory behind the conspiracy theory!

Quite amazing really, and goes to show how young modern physics is.

I had a nanophysics lecturer who told us about his PhD research that he did in the 70s. It was cutting edge at the time, but we had already covered it as elementary material in our first year.

Amazing to think that some Imperial grads of yesteryear don't even understand what's going on with 5G.
