How the QAnon conspiracy theory is taking root in the UK

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/sep/20/the-qanon-conspiracy?utm_source=pocket-newtab-global-en-GB

Surely this is just scaremongering, not worth even reporting on.

It's in the Guardian so guaranteed to be a smear piece primarily intended to make their righteous readers smirk about the clearly intellectually lacking non-lefties.

QAnon is popular because less than 50% of Homo Sapiens use much of their brains for thinking.

It is easy for some people to ignore but the worry is that trouble created by many can affect a few.

Such as the internet joke Freeman of the Land 'movement'.
Hassle for our police to have to deal with.

This is the problem with journalism nowadays. Just look at the author and it just has to be a smear piece.

Same problem in both directions and it means there is nowhere that can supply information without it being instantly dismissed.

Perhaps the craft of journalism has always had political opinion running through it.

Andrew Neil is setting up a TV channel called GB News, which could hopefully be as fair and hard as he is... unless the financial backers have more say in the editorial than he does, I guess.

He also already does a weekly hour long video for The Spectator, which can be found on their YT channel, plus is doing extra reports on the US election on same.

Thinking
My sister in law mentioned them on the weekend.
I remember thinking "Oh FFS" at the time, but I was a bit pissed and now I can't remember what she said, why they were wankers.

Damn, requires thinking.
Therefore too hard right now.

Seems like good news. Banning "militarised social movements" means wiping out Antifa and BLM...

Proud Boys was on the news tonight, after Trump refused to condemn them in the debate.

Personally I think any organisation which is resposbile for continuous rioting and loss of lives is to be condemned.

You think Trump refuses to condemn a white supremacist because of some nuanced philosophy of balance in how to respond to the behaviour of political groups? Hardly, I would say he just likes seeing people at each others necks, he enjoys it like any school yard bully.

Based on what evidence?

His entire record.
You should read the book by his Neice, it's not just about him but the whole Trump family and hoe they interacted.

That's probably the most appropriate typo you've had for a while Wink

Did Biden condemn Antifa in the debate?
