Lets be honest though, its certainly one of the most exciting MOTO GP seasons in the last 5 years due to all the uncertainty

^^^ Still this. Over half way through now and I still have no idea who's going to win. I just want to see good racing, and I'd gotten used to every season being "Who will come second to Marquez?", so this one has been an absolute cracker, despite all the covid/no spectators weirdness.

Speaking of which, that "Fan Wall" was all a bit wierd wasn't it, i wonder how much those folk had paid to have their sweaty mugs shown on the virtual video screen for all of 2 seconds

I even saw one guy who was wearing a mask, he must surely have been in his own house, so WTF was he doing wearing a mask to watch the MOTO GP

It's well known as a bit of a rink. So, yeah.

Track temp was 20 C. That's a lot cooler than usual.
Loads of riders dropping at that first left hander. Almost 30 secs since the riders were on that side of the tyre.

Just wait until the next few rounds. It could be a case of who stays on wins.

BT commentators were saying low grip but dry really suits the Suzukis, but that they struggle in the wet.

Apparently if the weather stays dry we should expect to see them place well for the next few rounds.

If.

Looks better today, hope Jake Dixon carries on where he left off. Just one complaint, get rid of that smirking self obsessed twat Hodgson from the commentary team.

Pretty much only 1 constant in that motoGP race.

Gutted for some, surprised by others chuffed for the winner.
Timing tower graphics virtually flickering.

Moto2 next. Thumbs Up

Really disappointed by Bradley, would have been great to see him keep it together and bring home a top 10.

Loved Rins pass on Dovi and Miller, watched it a few times on replay and so far as I can tell he saw an opportunity and seized it.

And, obviously, great stuff by Marquez Jnr.

Apparently Marc may be back next weekend, that'll be interesting.

Don't understand this, there's nothing in it for him, other than negatives.

At one point he was coming back to win the title with ease, now he would have to win every race and hope that all the top four have multiple DNF's, can't see that happening.
As witnessed at the weekend, the remaining races all have a high probability of being wet, is he going to risk another injury to be an also ran?
He won't be coming back to ride shotgun/team orders for another Honda because Honda have no title contenders!

A comeback now seems to be a very high risk, pointless, exercise for Marquez.
For Honda though it would be a massive face saving stunt!

^^^All true but when have racers been logical.

My guess is he doesn't want to get rusty and if his arm feels good on the bike he'll see how far up the board he can go.

I also suspect there's a part of him that would love to come back and get some podiums...y'know really hammer home the point.

MM is a confirmed member of the "win it or bin it" category of racers, it's precisely the reason he ended up missing most of the season.
Anyone who's followed Motogp for the last few years must surely have realised that MM's, current, injuries were inevitable, it's surprising he got away with it for so long.
Unfortunately Honda have a predicament, despite them claiming otherwise, together Honda and MM have created a bike that no one, other than MM can ride, all their eggs are now, firmly in one basket.

Honda will no doubt agree to MM returning for the rest of the season, simply because they've got no choice, MM is all they've got, he is their only hope.
If it goes wrong again for MM, on his return, both him and Honda are totally fubar'd for the next few seasons!

I hope Pol bounces well!

Agree with that but would also say that he's a racer, not a sofa recoverer - so once he thinks he's fit to go he's going to go. I think it's as much the competition as it is the winning.

You are only going to come last sitting it out.

Will be interesting to see what fitness level he comes back at, what level of risk he's prepared to take and whether he's still prepared to chase the crash to find the limit in order to win.

For me its not win or bin it's knowing that on the Honda you have to be prepared to bin it to win it. You'd have to say that crashing aside, he's done pretty well at it ( crashing and winning).

I'm not sure the problem is the rider as far as crashing goes, he simply rides like that because there's no other way to ride that bike to win on it. What he needs is a bike that is less of a dog to get the best out of.

It would be interesting to see what he could do on someone elses machinery.

There seems to be some uncertainty on MM's return, looks like he's targetting the final round.

Honda have history with issues relating to ruthless and pig-headed.
There may be just a slim chance that Marc has learned something. Do just enough approach.

Valentino Rossi is positive for COVID 19 and will miss this weekend's race.

His year is going to cack.

Q1 highlights how odd this year is, plus I've never seen Dovi that angry before.

Ducati...the dysfunctionals. Laughing

Will Q2 be like the moto3?

I think Rins more than deserves a mention here. Not you specifically, but motogp commentary was falling over itself to say "Marquez is awesome" 11th to 2nd is one great ride. But 10th to 1st is awesomer in my book.

The Suzuki looks like a weapon in the corners!
