2006 cbf500 abs. I've had some issues with headlight fuses blowing when turned on full beam. Seems to have be a chafed wire in the headlight bucket.

However now I've got no speedo/very intermittent, no ABS (light doesn't come on) but a working digital odometer.

I can't seem to see any other damaged wires and all the fuses are good.

Any ideas where I start here? Bit short of money at the moment so ideally need to fix this myself.

I would plug in my obd tool but I'm not even sure it these bikes have the option? I assumed they did considering it has ABS though...

ABS works by comparing the front and rear wheel speeds and the speedo will receive it's signal from one wheel or the other so the most likely cause is the lack of one of those signals. Intermittent operation suggests more wiring faults of a corroded connector.
