I have test fit the TPMS sensors and fitting the valve is no problem, but I notice the sensor is a couple milimeters above the rim, unsupported, which may stress the valve.
I'd like to know if thats normal for the BMW type. Ive watched a couple of YT videos and the bmw seem the same, smooth rims, sitting above, but cant be sure.

I can make up a plastic spacer to glue onto the sensor if its needed.

It looks like it just sits on the rubber/plastic sealing grommet Confused Does it not go tight when you do the outer nut up? If it does I wouln't make it more rigid just incase you set up more stresses.
For what it's worth, Triumph have a spring in theirs to do the same thing so theirs won't be totally rigid either.

No doubt it will end up welded to the wheel rim because some people are just completely lacking in sense.

On my GSA they just fit snugly, tighten up the tube type locking nut.
If it was the battery that went duff, then it is easy and far cheaper to replace the battery and use the old sensor. the UKGS forum has loads about it and there are easy to follow videos.

So obvious stupid question, you are fitting these to BMW wheels that are designed for this type of TPMS sensor aren't you or is this another one of your bodges?
