Hi ,
I got a Honda xl125 v2 varadero (2002)

I've got a problem with the HT cable on front cylinder.

It will not work with the cap on the plug. But if i hold the cap just just above the plug it works fine.

I tried to swap the coils and it gives the same result.

Please help.

Use a little water and meths. on a bit of rag to clean the plug, and dry it carefully.

The same for the plug cap, inside and outside (you will be better off unscrewing it from the cable, if it will come off).

Then try again.

It sounds to me like the spark plug has too much resistance. (faulty).

Hi ,

Thank you for your advices.

I have swapped the spark plugs and it fixed the problem.
I will replace the spark plugs in the near future to make sure it won't happen again.
