If you're subscribed to any youtube channels and are wondering why you haven't had any email notifications, for new videos, over the last couple of days.
Youtube, without any announcement, have stopped issuing email notifications, as of the 13/08.

Thanks for nothing youtube, bunch of fukking morons!

YT's most awesome awesomeness is the hundreds of free MP3s it's 'given' me (I've nicked). I've not had to pay munez for music for over a decade.

On a similar note, YouTube are recommending videos I've already watched while ignoring new content from channels I've subscribed to.
There are still some good content providers, but there's quite a few who started out well, got a taste of the monies and then just started spewing out junk when they ran out of content on their knowledge base.

Never heard about email notifications from Youtube if you're a viewer. I just check my subscription page to look for new videos.

Go to the channel page you are subscribed too and also click the bell icon, then you will get an email alert or notification on your mobile device.
Still there and working so far as I know.

Last week I clicked on a recommended video on my youtube home page.

It was a weird old travelogue video thing with a voiceover in Korean. Shaky, amateur, weird thing to be shown. Maybe youtube knows I lived in China?

Then it dawned on me whose voice it was, and I realised I had watched it before, many moons ago. It was a travel video made by ex girlfriend from about 7 years ago Thanks for that youtube, wtf
