Do I believe it? A rhetorical question, of course, in view of "previous".

Exactly. If it's true then it's truly tragic.

If.

I don't see why it would not be.

People's lives are tragic, things go on in the small parts of our lives that we just don't announce to our friends, whether IRL or online, and it is those things that shape who we become.

It might certainly seem that accepting things at face value might be dodgy, and it would be a more charitable act than some the OP's previous posts might deserve.

But what if it is.
What if s/he is really hurting and just wanted to shout at God for a moment.

Everyone is entitled to have emotions and experiences beyond a single facet that might be seen online.

* shrug *

The problem is that his entire post content reeks of fantasy and has been quite insulting. The boy that cried wolf and all that.

It's human instinct to distrust people when it's deserved.

Yep. He never comes over as credible so having read the original post, discounted it.

Do I believe in God?

If there is a God then why does He/She allow bad things to happen to good/innocent people?

I honestly don't know.

CS Lewis wrote a book called 'A Grief Observed' which, as a religious man, details his thoughts on the death of his missus and God in it.

He suggests maybe God is like a vet and we are the animal, sometimes the animal has horrible things done to it by the vet which it can't comprehend a good purpose.

I'm not saying I subscribe to this.

What's the difference between 32 bikes and 1 dead baby?

You can get the bikes started again

I'd be mostly searching for fucks to give.
But if this is the way that s/he can express their grief, then I'm not inclined to dig them out for it.

Shout at him?

I want to rip his throat out & shit down his neck. Then I will pull his entrails out from the gaping wound & force feed them to his gobshites.

Soon, I will have to enter his church & praise his glory while my Son carries her coffin.

Hmm? No one knows I guess.
As someone said to me once, God gave man free will and unhindered fate.
Man has used and abused free will since the dawn of time and fate is a rolling dice.

Works for me Thumbs Up

I believe in the God Gap, IE that which science cannot explain provides an option for the existence of God. So I'm an Agnostic rather than an Atheist.

How does one fit 32 bikes into one's garage? Surely a task for God.

If one has delusions of grandeur then fitting 32 bikes into a garage is easy. Thumbs Up
