There is seemingly no logic to it. Try getting quotes for different bikes just to see whether it comes down. Try changing your occupation too. Keep it true, but look for different ways you can describe it.
As an example someone I know was quoted a ridiculous price when he put down his job as "cameraman"/ "film industry". It seems the risk he would give a lift to a celebrity and they would claim against his policy was the problem. But then he changed to some sort of technician description and tweaked the field very slightly (while it all remained true) and *boom* normal price ensued.
