Auntie Beeb used to do that all the time with Laura Kuenssberg. It used to wind me up how everything she said was taken as fact and not opinion.

There I was, happily playing Bejewelled, when an ad popped up.
It was an ad for Save the Crocodiles or something, with a little video explaining how terrible French fashion firms are farming these poor little things inhumanely.

No, no, internet algorithm overloads...! : I WANT a crocodile handbag.
Preferably in dark brown, if you can manage it.

Lately we've had a fox burying hens eggs in our garden. Doggo has been sniffing them out, digging them up and eating them.
This doesn't worry me too much but the upshot is that his farts have now become intolerable.

Dental pain is grinding my gears, finally had the tooth that has probably been featuring on/off in this thread for 4 years pulled out.

Previous extractions after a nights sleep I'm usually fine. This bastard though is still causing agony 24 hours later.

and they discovered this on the X-ray, can't wait for that to go wrong

Boarding up my loft is grinding my gears Sad .
12 packs of boards and it still seems like I’m only just touching the sides.
I now live in a bungalow, so the living space footprint is big compared to my old house.

B&Q must be rubbing thier hands in glee when they see me coming into the car park!
Boarding up lofts is dark, dusty and fugking BORING!

1. I was planning a leisurely day of catching up on my admin, and its turned into a frantic evening of running about like a blue-arsed fly Brick Wall

2. Lawrence just brought in a small rat, dropped it and it ran off. IN MY BEDROOM Shocked

3. I've not yet had time to eat properly today and I am fucking Hank Marvin.

Laughing twat Laughing

Anyway, I've charged about a bit now, and now have time to finish making the dinner I started making this morning Shocked (beef with chilli and ginger gravy)

Lawrence has re-caught the rat but has not made his usual meal of it. He usually only leaves me a morsel, but today he seems to have just ripped out the carotid artery and the heart, and left me enough for a rat sandwich. He must have known I was Starvinho Wub

make sure you leave space between the insulation and the boards for moisture to escape.

And that the joists are up to the additional loading you're planning on putting on them?

...and that if you seal the loft by going right into the eaves, put in some air-bricks. Lofts need to breath otherwise moisture builds up, lats rot, rafters go mushy and you reduce the lifespan of your roof.

Yes I’m using 8x2 boards.
Also I don’t think loads are going to be an issue.
Only light storage and it will be spread out as I am aware of overloading a specific space.

Also, aside, I ended up going through the ceiling at my old place Shocked Shocked Laughing .
It fecking hurt and I had black balls for a month after hitting a cross-members on my way through Shocked .

Not going all the way to the eaves, only the space I can stand in.

This... If you are going to use the space for anything other than light storage, chances are you'll need to double up on your joists. Not what you want to hear after you've boarded I appreciate!

Experience has taught me that the first step of flooring a loft is to enlarge the hatch so it'll take full size floor boards. Second stage is sort out the lighting.

After many y ears of riding without ear protection my hearing is FUBAR
Any new / young riders I talk to I always suggest decent ear plugs as no helmet is going to completely protect your hearing and it's one of my few regrets now left ear is particularly bad with a high pitched whistle most of the time and god forbid I listen to any moderately loud music without ear defenders Brick Wall
