There are quite a few direct sales sites from China, Wish, Alibaba and loads of others.

I want some cheap radio control gear and a few other electronic things at prices that won't have me crying into my rum if I screw them up.

Has anyone got an opinion about which is best, price, reliability, etc. Yes, I can get most stuff on ebay from drop shoppers but if I can get it cheaper direct from China and I'm not in a rush, why not?

Also, I presume Paypal is the sensible way to pay as I don't really fancy giving credit card details to them.

Cheers chaps.

If you can collar a speaker of the lingo Taobao and JD are the biggest marketplaces (think domestic versions of eBay/amazon). Appreciate not a realistic option for most though.

Failing that I'd use alibaba/express, owned by same people as Taobao, it's an established platform.

I avoid Wish, nothing I ever order from there is quite the same as what I thought I ordered. Sometimes amusing but usually just annoying.

I've bought a few things from Banggood which have arrived in 10-14 days.
Some of their stock is at an EU warehouse.

I ordered some mini-speakers via Aliexpress, and received a small black ostrich-feather fascinator. What? No, it did not suit me! I complained to the vendor. They asked for a photo. I sent them a photo. They issued a refund. They didn't want their fascinator back. I was going to take it to a charity shop, but of course they're closed.

There is a transmitter receiver combo that is cheap and good, and I think it's a flysky FS-GT3c. It's 2 chan so OK for cars and boats. Everyone raves about it, although the UI is a bit of a pain apparently.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Gosh. I can't find the wretched thing. You could look up "Sodial feather fascinator", but while you might find the article itself, I am not as attractive as the models, even the butch ones. Sorry!

It's a 3 channel system, the 3 gives it away. The 3b is also good and they share receivers which cost about a £5. The b has a 10 model memory the c a few more iirc, the UI on the b is fine and I can't imagine the c being much different.
