He has many listings. Mostly for pics of graphics cards rather than actual graphics cards.
Technically it may not be fraudulent, but the intent is in my opinion.

What do you think?

Seems more like a trick to trap bot users.

Maybe needs to put up some pictures of PS5s too?

Ah, it's making more sense now. Previously it was "PS5 Box for sale" and the like, the listings clearly intended to deceive.

This however is perfectly honest... if one bothers to read the description. I think it could be classified as an "exploit." It might force eBay's hand to acknowledge the scalping problem with new & rare products.

It might not technically be illegal but it's a pretty deliberate intent to deceive. I've reported one of his items, and I think ebay should shut him down but he can probably just start up again.

He also has listings for scalped cards too, to if you dont pay attention you can buy the pics listing instead of the actual card listing.

I'm scandalised but also a bit tempted to do it myself, I dont think I could bring myself to on purpose though.

Someone could have saved for ages to get a card, then be a bit careless and order one of his pics.

The only reason I actually checked the description on the one I saw first was he listed two cards which I thought was odd. If it had just been one, I might have foolishly put a bid on without checking the full listing.

its distasteful and i think efforts should be made to remove these posts.

this one i felt was somewhat poor.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RTX-3070-box-with-Nvidia-GPU/143930509302?hash=item2182ed47f6:g:qbUAAOSwCGlgEYhC

its described as a 3070 box with an Nvida GPU.
in the description it says the GPU is a 1050.

why not list it as a 1050 if what's being sold is a 1050 ?
the box is not relevant.
