Hi, I am looking for someone to do a spray job on a cockpit fairing does anyone have any recommendations in the Lancashire area?

If you want quality work you have to pay for it.
I have used them and i think they did a good job, perfect , other jobs i have had done by painters local to me have been not as good.

They do something very few people can - they produce paint jobs in the correct colour, texture and depth to match the original, to the extent you can't tell the difference.

Anyone can throw a bit of paint on, not so many can do it right and that's what you're paying for.

Anybody that describes a paint job as good but expensive, probably doesn't know what it takes to do a good paint job.

Sorry to shatter your illusion but I worked in the paint industry for many years and am an excellent sprayer who can produce a professional finish to a very high standard, which is probably why I think he is very expensive as I can do it just for the cost of the paint for myself.
So I am speaking from a position of knowledge and I still think he charges too much.

I've been running a bodyshop for the last 15 years and I'm no stranger to a DeVilbiss Gti, so we may have to agree to disagree.

What I do know is, they have been consistently producing concours quality paintwork for at least 35 years and if I want to replicate a restoration and factory finish on a bike, I know I can trust them to do it, regardless of colours, stripes or anything else.

That's a skill that's virtually priceless to some people, especially when you factor in the lack of availability for a lot of bike bodywork, much more than 10 years old.

There are Mask it Up and Slap it On guys who throw paint at cars an s4it.
And then there are the Botticellis and the Michelangelos who are artists that paint machinery.

My spray gun brand of choice was always Binks Bullows.

Got swallowed up by devilbiss I too used to love the binks 630s but they're not a patch on my satas or iwatas. Like most things in life technology moves on.
