In my modest experience, new tyres feeling like they tip in really quick is just a response to previously having to work harder to tip in the squared off tyres you have just replaced.

To a point, absolutely. I'm used to the new tyre feeling, and the specific tyres I usually use. These tip in far quicker, to the point it's unnerving until you have a few miles under your belt and expect it to do that. and the profile is a lot more of a 'V' compared to a 'U' shape on the Roadsmarts.

150+ miles put on them yesterday. Mainly sweepy A roads, and some boring dual carrigeway work as I was a touch overenthusiastic with newfound freedoms, realised I'm the other side of the country, and need to be home rather sharpish.

I'm sold.

Good confidence, even in greasy weather up around the Snowdon passes, and even dealt with a goat track roadwork diversion without issue. I can't see going back to the Dunlops being honest. The tip into a corner is definately faster, but it's not surprising now I'm used to the tyres. It's definately not going to transform a lardy 90's sports tourer into an R6 anytime soon, but for me and my riding, it's just about spot on.

Just got 5000 miles out a set of Conti TCK 80s. Not bad being an 80/20 miles. I always find the better brands worth spending extra on.
