It's a structural member of the fork system.

By all accounts, these are really well made bikes. Is also a bargain if you compare it with the guy who is trying to sell a briwn Jawa fucking oilmaster for £3.5k! Those were shit when they were new. I mean, you have to grease the centre main bearing!

I think the ES150 motor is derived from the Grandad of all modern 2-strokes, the DKW RT125. Properly designed spanny exhaust and everything.

Good spares availability. You can pick up a NOS silencer for under £100.

You can pretty much strip the entire bike with the factory toolkit. The bearings are all standard wheel bearing sizes.

Interesting. I saw this bike and thought it was the ultimate hipster machine. The no-guard thing has become popular, which is not the way of the hipster.

I want it. I'm not sure why, and I don't have space to do it, but I want it.

It's styled like a 1970's hoover vacuum cleaner. In fact, a mate of mine fitted a set of hoover badges to the tank of his ES250.

Jeez, could you at least rinse a summer of riding it? Don't tell me you're bored of it already! BTW I'm not the only one who names bikes, wr6133 has named all his Enfields so not weird at all Laughing
