I think when the Bay City Rollers came out, I was halfway between my David Cassidy/Donny Osmond* era ( ) and my Queen era, with occasional diversions into David Bowie's smoke-and-mirror formations.

So the Bay City Rollers just seemed like a load of tartan baby longhairs to me. Even Sweet were an improvement
