Hi All.
I have a 1991 fazer 600 motor which has
loom etc ,just ordered a cdi (water damage on original).
Unfortunately there is no starter relay present, after a bit
of research I see the starter relay for this year only has one
switch wire from it . I can see a single connector coming from
loom which this will couple to perfect.
Just wondered if anyone can tell me how this works as on all
previous starter relay solenoids I've come across they have had
2 wires exiting it for the start switch.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Simply:
That single wire probably has to be grounded to actuate the starter
as it gets its positive supply for the actuating coil from battery pos.

That's exactly how it is. The solenoid coil is connected to the battery feed terminal and the single wire is grounded to energise the coil.
