Seriously?

I've been trying to get my head around it all night. No success in getting the concept. Relativity and special relativity.

Is everything just a 1 or a 0. Is it both at the same time?

What is infinity?

What is nothing?

Can there be infinite density?

Heads minced.

I can't take you seriously. I feel you are failing to grasp the gravity of the subject.

Pah! Rolling Eyes I could go on and on about infinity, but clearly the density of the subject would just be too heavy to grasp!

Hmm? There’s not a lot I can say about nothing Shocked !

Head-mincing is fatal Shocked Shocked Shocked .
I guess it’s best to make sure you’re dead before you mince your head.

I'd work on just the time bit if I were you, if you think that 1.21am means you've been at it all night.

This'll fuck you up...

Thinking the Earth "creates" gravity is wrong. A large mass slows time flow around it and Gravity is just an observable effect. The reason you can walk about on the surface and not spin off into space is because there's a differential between the time flow of your feet and that of your head Shocked

Remember Einstein's theories say that the force from Gravity is the same as force under acceleration not equivalent.

That doesn't fuck me up at all, because I prefer to take the classic viewpoint.

Correlation is not causation. The general view is that the effects are connected but that the curvature of space time causes both the effect of time dilation (which is vanishingly small in the distance between your head and feet) and also that of gravitational attraction on the gross scale.

Then there's the idea that gravity may actually be a force with it's own gauge boson...

No, that's the boson that imparts mass to gauge bosons, quarks and charged leptons. If a gauge boson for gravity is ever discovered it'll likely be called a graviton.

When you say a 1 and a 0 do you mean as in Apha and Omega, or are you thinking of Binary, as in 1000100110010?

Additionally, the way humans experience time is not the same as time. Imagine driving down a one way street, you've driven past number 2,4 and so on and are now outside number 34, it doesn't mean numbers 2 and 4 aren't there any more, they still are, but you can't access them any longer cos you've driven past them as you slowly progress towards number 36 and onwards. ( hey it's just an analogy)

It's a scale cowboys use to measure the weight of N. American Bosun.

(Bulls are much heavier than the cows.)

Don't you just love those old westerns where the cowboy is trotting through the peaceful prairie one moment and the next he's galloping for his life, getting chased down by a herd of rampaging gleaming white Armitage Shanks? Laughing
