Evening all, I first joined here in 2012 after passing my CBT, for one reason and many more I’ve finally passed my full bike licence last week…

First CBT in 2012 I let lapse due to first child taking up my time.
Second CBT in 2016 a divorce got in the way.
Third CBT completed last year and due to lockdown, a failed Mod 1 and working away its taking me this long to finally get it passed.

Anyway looking forward to reading threads and asking daft questions…

The forum attachment system isn't great but if you post it elsewhere (e.g. imgur) then you can link to it with:

Thanks, yep sometimes life simply gets in the way, anyway all done, worst thing was buying the Triumph back in July 2020 as an incentive to get through it once and for all, it’s killed me going into the garage and seeing this and being unable to ride it until now lol…

Well done for your restraint! I know the feeling. Back in the day it was this for me:

...but I was a naughty boy who couldn't resist! Tut Tut

Then later paid the price for my impatience with one of these...

...when I couldn't wait to get it legally on the road - it needed registering on a British Forces Germany plate, but I got nicked riding it before I'd sorted it! Tut Tut

Street Triple; a great way to start! Thumbs Up
It'll be a hard one to beat if you ever fancy a change.

remember when youre riding, you will be invisible to some car drivers, especially at roundabouts and junctions. as tempting as speed is, it can be costly in traffic.
