Fingers crossed in the next few weeks I will have got my Mod2 out of the way and have my T120, now their are a lot of accessories available for this bike, im wondering how much they affect insurance premiums, will their just be admin charges for cosmetic things like led repeaters

I briefly tried on the comparison sites, which just ask for a value of whats fitted, and it didnt seem to affect the premium much at all, but when the wife got her first bike and forgot to add her heated grips to the policy, she rang them back to add them and got an insane quote of an extra few hundred quid, she got it sorted in the end but was a lot of messing about, the phone advisor didnt even know what they were

What are peoples own experiences with changing things and insurance

Well I always assumed that insurers use it as an opportunity to ream out your arsehole a little bit more, but I am sure our resident bot from IFFCCO-TOKIO will be around shortly to offer some Nobel Prize winning advice Rolling Eyes

Not strictly on-topic but on my car, Go Skippy insurance cancelled my policy on me when I told them I had a dash camera mounted to the windscreen because they said the underwriter (Southern Rock Insurance) refuse to underwrite policies on modified vehicles and by having a dash camera on a suction mount to the window that counted as a modification that I had not declared.
