I thought Roberts did things like TT and GP races. What's the association with a dual-sport / supermoto type bike?

It's like a particularly loathsome dick head at my place of work who always asks me if I saw this race or if I saw that race.
He always tries to look slightly aloof when I reply no, as if it makes him more of a biker than me.
The ironing is, he doesn't own a bike.
